How hard is the Annapurna Base Camp Trek?

ABC trek is moderately difficult due to its challenging terrain. If there is snow, it’s more challenging as the trail gets slippery. After Deurali, it gets tougher with high altitude, and possible sickness hence, acclimatization rest is recommended. Still, the ABC trek is achievable.

Packing List for Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Spring

The weather is generally warm in lower regions but slightly cold in the Annapurna Base Camp. Thus, we recommend packing light warm winter clothes such as down jackets, warm trousers, warm hats, gaiters, gloves, socks, and thermal under and over. Also, include sunglasses, prescribed medicines, water purification kits, personal hygiene kits, trekking poles, and spikes.

What kind of Accommodation in Annapurna Base Camp Trek in Spring

Accommodation is generally teahouses or lodges. There are rooms with many beds and must share a room with 2-6 people since it’s a peak season. But, mostly room sharing must be done at higher elevations but depends on the flow of tourists. There is availability of a hot shower and Wi-Fi at an additional charge.
