Amazing 3 Passes Trek Experience

We recently completed the 3 passes trek with Jay (guide) and Bikas (porter) and it was an amazing, unforgettable experience. The whole experience of organizing it with the Himalayas Trip team was very straight forward and they were very accommodating. Jay picked us both up separately from the airport and the whole trip he couldn’t do more for us. With the help of Bikas, over 17 days, we climbed through the 3 passes, bowled over by the beauty of the Himalayas as we slowly became mountain men and accustomed to our new life of lodges, altitude and rice and noodles. It is a stunning area and escape and when the clouds were gone, the landscape is so wonderful, you don’t want to leave. Jay & Bikas took great care of us the whole trip, we felt like family by the end of it and I would strongly recommend anyone considering this trip to undertake it with Jay and the Himalaya Trip team. It was a wonderful, unforgettable experience and we haven’t stopped planning our next trip back to the mountains. We will be seeing the mountains and the Himalaya Trip team soon!

Amazing & Unforgettable Experience

Just finished my Mardi Himal Trek for 5D4N last week with 2 of my friends and it was an amazing and unforgetable experience with generous support from Harka, Jay (guide) & Umesh (porter) from Himalaya Trip. I enjoyed so much the trails eventhough we had to pass so many steep stairs up and down which seemly never ending but with continous support from Jay our guide and pampered by the beauty of Himalaya’s landscape and peaceful ambience of the forest during the walk so we could passed it safely and happily. Everyday we had different beautiful and interesting view. We were so lucky at the Highcamp we could be the witness of the magical beauty of Annapurna South & Marchapurche that we could see so clear under the stars and full moon at night which that’s my favourite moment that I won’t forget. The next day, on the way to View Point, I and one of my friend were having light mountain sickness but once again with assistance and support from Jay, he with his professional experience ensured us how to manage this issue so calm and finally we made it to View Point and greeted with an extraordinary and increadible view of Annapurna South & Marchapurche that we could see so close. Goshh, I got goosebump and speechless. Overall I really appreciated and give credit for the great assistance from Himalaya Trip starting from Harka that always help and answer my questions with patience eventhough unexpected date changing at very last minutes, outstanding guidance from Jay for his patience and continuous support for giving us the best experience during the trekking, and Umesh who assist us to carry our stuffs. I feel like having a little family. Once again thank you Himalaya Trip for giving us best experience.

11 days Poonhill, Mardi and ABC Trek

Since we didn’t have any friends around us who had trekked in the Himalayas, the only information we could find was on the internet. Among several local agencies, we decided to undertake the 11-day long journey with Himalaya Trip Agency, which was the most responsive and created a customized trekking itinerary according to our wishes. I was worried because it was a two-woman trip, but thanks to the attentive consideration of Harka, the Himalaya Trip team leader, Surpa, an experienced guide, and Meshak, a porter who carried our luggage all the way to the top of the ABC with only Crocs sandals, we were able to focus fully on our schedule and enjoy trekking. It was surprising that guide Surpa’s weather forecasts and predictions about the expected arrival time were always correct. The lodges were cleaner than expected and the food was good. Potato dishes were especially delicious, so for the first few days, we only ate various potato dishes. I still vividly remember the morning I had at Poon Hill, the first summit on my itinerary, and the scent of the warm coffee I drank there. On the way up from MBC to ABC, I was out of breath and my legs were heavy, so I had no choice but to walk slowly, one step at a time, but my Surpa guide was right next to me, matching my strides until the end and giving me courage, so I was able to keep going without giving up. We would like to thank guide Surpa and Meshak porter once again for always being considerate and helping us during our 11-day itinerary. Although there are people who have never been to the Himalayas, there is no one who has been there just once… I am already thinking about plans for my next travel destination, and I hope to be able to work with a Himalaya Trip agency again next time.

Unforgettable 11 days trek Poonhill ABC Mardi Himal Trek

I’ve just finished last week my Trek Poonhill ABC Mardi Himal Trek with Himalaya Trip. The trip was really great and well organised, safely taken care by our guide and our porter. The director Harka was really efficient for all organizations: from email contact to discuss our schedule, he answered all my questions promptly and very flexible with our request. Our guide Surpa was always worried about our health condition and took care of us all the time. Our porter Meshak was always smiling even when conditions were difficult. Himalaya Trip was perfect for our needs and I highly recommend them to anyone who want to organize trekking in the Himalayas.

I recently completed a 12-day Everest Base Camp trek that left me speechless, thanks to the exceptional guidance and care provided by Jay, our guide, and his remarkable porter team. Jay’s thoughtfulness, professionalism, and adaptability were evident throughout the journey as he went above and beyond to ensure our safety and enjoyment. His extensive knowledge of the region and ability to provide alternative options based on different scenarios were invaluable.
