Top of the world!

Harka and our guide Joy organised a fantastic 12 day Langtang Gosaikunda trek. Throughout the challenging walk we were charmingly looked after and organised in relation to sleeping and eating. Our walk took us to a fantastic variety of locations with awe inspiring Langtang Himalayas views and scenery. We felt challenged throughout. It really was the trek of a lifetime.

Twelve day trekking up the Langtang valley and over the Gosiakunda Pass.

Very much like to add my review to the many others as well as endorse the opinions of my fellow travellers. Harka provided a first rate service organising our 12 day trek to Langtang and the Gosiakunda Pass. He personally picked us up from the airport and delivered us to our hotel in Kathmandu. He booked all the accommodation and transport. His suggestion to hire a driver and 4×4 to the start point at Syabrubesi was a very good call. He was entirely reliable and completely trustworthy in every way. On the actual trek, our guide Joy and porters Misak and Markus were highly organised, engaging and always in good spirits. It was physically challenging over the terrain and we had to deal with the effects of altitude, but with Joy’s attention and careful pace-setting, we achieved everything we hoped to and got the experience of our lives. Thanks to all our Nepalese friends – great ambassadors for they country as well as highly professional support.

Gokyo Trek

My partner’s no stranger to the services provided by Himalaya Trip and for good reason. This is his second time trekking with them and my first. The team were a pleasant and adaptable group who ensured we had the best experience possible. Harka, our organiser, did a great job at mapping out our itinerary and keeping us prepared and informed throughout our trip to Gokyo and we extend that thanks to Jay for his assistance before the start of this trek. We commend our lovely guide, Ramesh, whose support and dedication were deeply appreciated especially for a beginner trekker. Our porter, Dill, was a delightful companion, but unfortunately, had fallen slightly ill during the trek. After reaching one of our stops, Ramesh made the journey to retrieve our baggage from where our porter had to stop. We were impressed by the effort he made to do this all after a days trekking and as it was getting dark. Another porter, Depak, was quickly organised. Despite the short notice, he promptly made his way to Namche from Lukla to trek with us and luckily our trip went on.

We were well looked after on this trek. Even as I grew tired and a bit sick, the team remained supportive and their care and encouragement helped me endure. The views were beautiful and unforgettable. The lakes at Gokyo were as stunning as the mountains around us. I felt grateful to have shared this experience with our little family as Ramesh had called us. It was a hard good bye but I’m sure we’ll return.

An Unforgettable Epic Solo trekking experience

Just completed an incredible Solo Mardi Himal Trekking. Undoubtedly it was one of the best experiences of my life and unforgettable too. Despite its immense physical and mental challenges, the 5-day trek was fully worth it. Great deal with Himalaya Trip at reasonable prices. The company of friendly porter guide Sandeep, and his warm hospitality and attention to detail were impressive. Cherry on the top was breathtaking views, what more could I ask for? I am certain, I’ll be going through for next treks with them in the future.

Excellent 3 Passes Trek Experience

I would like highly recommend Harka, as a great organiser of our trek. He managed fit to all our requirements (tiing, places we would like to see and hike during the trekking). Moreover, he took care of us even once our private staying in Kathmandu (transfers, checking if we are fine, helping to find a driver for additional sightseeing we wanted to have).

Last, but not least: we are sooo greatful to our great guide (Ramesh) during our trek and Depak (our porter). With this team, the trek was real pleasure and magnificent experiance. Ramesh was always taking care of our health and condition, trying to find best rooms in teahouses and best spots during aclimatization time. Once – due to health conditions – we were not able to finish the trek as planned – he was fully supportive to change the plan and adapt it to our capabilities.

Ramesh and Depak were the best team we could have during our trek (Everest base camp and Island Peak base camp with Depak was a great experience with a lot of fun!).

Right Choice (4 days Poon Hill trek)

All arrangements were fantastically done by Himalaya Trip’s owner Harka for this 4-day Poon Hill trek. Our professional guide Surpa took great care of us as well in handling all issues properly. Also, highly appreciated our porter Sandeep in porting our heavy bags. It’s an awesome experience as well as the right choice to book with Himalaya Trip. Can’t wait to visit Nepal again����.

4 Days Poonhill Trek

Hi Harka, My 4 Days Poonhill Trek was fantastic during the four days. I have had the most amazing time thanks to Surpa.

I have met many guides in different countries but none like him. He was very caring, professional, and overall helped me a lot in many ways. Thanks to him I will remember the trekking trip and Nepal in a very positive manner.

If I ever do come back to Nepal, which I hope I do in the near future, I would definitely like to make trip arrangements with you and have Surpa as my guide.

Thank you once again for arranging my trip, it was the highlight of the vacation. I’d also like to thank you for pairing Surpa to be my guide. He was indeed a very very great and sweet guide.
